1/33 RWD-14b Czapla
I recently completed the RWD-14b Czapla (Heron) from Answer, scale 1/33.
I'm not really satisfied with the result but at least it's always something new in collection. I wanted to build it because I don't remember seeing it done before. During the September campaign 1939, five observation squadrons (13th, 23rd, 33rd, 53rd and 63rd) were equipped with these aircraft, each with seven aircraft per squadron. In the fighting, 49 aircraft were used and 35 were destroyed. 11-16 (according to various sources) were evacuated to Romania, where they were used for training purposes. One "Czapla" flew to Hungary. Some were captured by the Germans and the Soviets.

More fine work, Zenon.
I am reminded of the Duglas O-46, which always seemed to me to be a classy airplane that would have been enjoyable to fly. Don |

Thanks Don.
I don't think there's a paper model of Douglas O-46 in 1/33 but it is an interesting aircraft. However, GPM has Douglas O-38 in its catalogue and I have plans to build it in the future.
