Sikorsky H-34, by Zarkov Models

Almost all of my building in recent years has been of Design Group Alpha Models . Branching out to building a model from a different designer is a good experience for me.

I have a neighbor and friend that is a TikTok influencer by the callsign: 'Patriotic Kenny'. Kenny is an old US Navy Veteran who raises money and purchases mobility scooters for disabled Veterans. In tribute to Kenny's good work, I am building him a model helicopter of the type that he worked on when he was in service to his Country: A Sikorsky H-34 Seahorse.

I purchased this model soon after Dr. Emil Zarkov's death. I am finding it to be a great model - which is what I expected from a great designer. Zarkov Models website is not automated, so it took a day for it to arrive - but my purchase was a good experience.

I printed this model at 1:48 scale to match the rest of my collection.

I would occasionally see these in action in Vietnam in 1966-67 since this was the helo that the ARVN used for transport and medevac.

Very nice! I built one of these a long time ago. From what I remember it did not cause me any issues when building. Dr Zarkov always created well designed models.
