Hello my friends. You'll probably find the decision I've taken not serious: I have decided to stop this project due to its extreme complexity and time consuming that represents building this beautiful model. After very carefully studying the kit, I found out that it will take plenty of time which I don't have and wouldn't like to admire my finished model after elapsing several months.

However, I found out that there is another B2 card model out there, much more simple although perhaps not so detailed but a much more practical and easier to build kit. It is a Russian rendition. Does anybody out there has this moidel and if not being at the present time commercially sold, could share a PDF copy? Or if it is still available, can I have the brand and where I can buy it? Thanks a lot. Hope you understand my position.

Fully agree with you. That is why I stay away from too difficult and over designed models. Also this is one of the reasons I love so much GELI models. Accurate enough and not to hard to construct.

Agreed. It is a hobby and there are times we feel like pulling out the stops and times we don’t. I know on my X-15 builds, I’ve saved time by building them in flight. That way, I can skip the cockpit (you can’t see much through those windows anyway) and the landing gear. Of course some of the time I save I eat up with scratchbuilding and various improvements, but at least I save some time.
What about building your model in flight? It would still be an impressive build. |

The problem of making the model with undercarriage retracted is exhibiting. This model is very large and perhaps the only way is to hang it from the ceiling but the view is not as impacting as the land version.

I see Bruno has recently released a set of 1/100 B-2 kits. If you still wanted to build this aircraft this might be a good one to go to.
