Very Nice photos: The cardboard you use: Is that tagboard for the internal parts? Or do you have something else you use?
Tagboard comes in different thicknesses, can be found as a backing pad for notepads. Thank you for posting. Mike |

Wonderful model! It is amazing how you got so finely shaped surfaces on such a huge model. My only regret is the lack of a complete construction thread. Anyway, the construction pictures you have shown are already very revealing. And interesting! I’d love to see more

It is common cardboard bought in a model shop. They have different thicknesses. But anything like a pad for notepads or cardboard boxes can be used. |

The skin
I printed everything at home on an older inkjet printer. I used laser printer paper ColorCopy. I slightly edited the skin graphically in the editor. But nothing big. I softened some of the lines, added some small labels on the bow, changed the size and placement of the lettering slightly, and also changed their color from black to dark blue.
I also rearranged some parts so that there were no redundant seams. E.g. part 4 r,s,t. Above all, the parts of the bow (13) were adjusted so that the seam was not at the bottom, but hidden at the top under the black part of the heat shield. On the other parts of fuselage behind the cabine... I hid the seams on top of cabine and under the canards. Last edited by silverman; 05-25-2024 at 05:59 AM. |

Engine bays
I did plastic ribbing on the engine section. I used colored paper. The engines themselves are provided with a second layer for a more plastic look, but it is not very visible. Just like the intake section.
