Thank you my friends, I'm already planning to build the next one.

The next model I should start in a few days comes in native 1/100 scale and is the Latecoere 26 from Le Criquet. The subject is the F-AILY plane, which has an important history in the beginning of commercial aviation in Brazil and Latin America, becoming a perfect complement to my Aeropostale Late 28 from Scissors and Planes that I built between 2019 and 2020.

I've been working on Le Criquet's Late-26. A very well designed model in native 1/100 scale. I'm really enjoying building it and hope to finish this classic piece of aviation history this weekend. In the meantime, I leave the advances in the model.

An unusual subject. It seems that the kit is a level of complexity above S&P, as I see templates for wire parts for landing gear and struts.

Yes, Siwi.

Contrary to appearances, the 1:100 scale requires experienced paper modelers to achieve a result worthy of the name. They have their own assembly methods, and don't hesitate to engage in the often necessary surgical operations resulting from a somewhat haphazard design.
Few (not to say rare) are able to carry out such operations. Just browse the forums (including this one) to see for yourself.
My first models follow this "trendy" approach of minimalist boards, but I couldn't resist adding an optional board relating to the way I assemble my models. My method works, even if it's not revolutionary, since all my models are photographed once finished (or even in the process of being assembled).
The aim, however, is to enable any enthusiast, with a minimum of care and patience, to obtain a real little model....and inspire the desire to assemble others!

Your kit in this thread looks clear and well designed. The number of wire parts is not numerous, and is similar to that in a kit by Fitters or Marek.

Exactly. And it's by assembling models designed by others that you forge your own modus operandi. As in other disciplines, there's no such thing as an infinite science when it comes to paper models.

Friends, thank you very much for your contributions and observations. Le Criquet, I consider that your designs in the 1/100 scale are a step forward, mixing "schools", I see your solutions very close to the schools of Der Kampfflieger and Atvars, thank you very much for your generosity and the quality of your design work. I hope to build all the 1/100 and see new designs.

Hear, hear on that. This hobby wouldn't exist without the talent and generosity of our designers.
