I did a series of P-39 repaints a while back and still have the base template with all landing gear and other mods. Want me to try a Panama Airacobra to add here?

Despite being José's idea like the Midway thread, it is a collaborative project, repaintings and moddings are more than welcome, we have P-40, P-36, P-26, P-35 that operated in the Channel region apart from older aircraft. "exotic" without considering those of the US Navy, with some research you will certainly find interesting things to join this project considering your talent for painting and construction.

This Type IX, originally at 1/250, is relatively simple for that scale, but scales down really nicely to 1/400. I think it can withstand more reductions. The most complicated thing was the railings of the bridge, but with patience and a steady hand, can be done with strips of paper. The Costal Command B-24 Liberator is a boxy also originally in 1/250 by PRmodels, also scaled down to 1/400. Hopefully soon, I will replace it with Bruno’s Martin PBM Mariner.
Awesome!

Despite this being an aviation forum, the contextualized subject fits perfectly. Bravo!

Yes, of course my friend!!! As Per and myself write and explained this is a contributive thread-remember the song "With a little help from my friends". For instance, Pablo masters into Naval Warfare and he's contributing with his builds and knowlwdge. Waiting eagerly for your contribution.

Curtis P-36A Hawk 33/16, 29th Pursuit Squadron, 16th Pursuit Group at Río Hato Auxiliary Aerodrome, Panama Canal Zone late 1941. This aircraft has arrived to Panama in August 1939 from Selfridge Field, MI. The segmented black/white wheel disc covers were unusually painted on nearly all Sixth Air Force/ Caribbean Air Force P-36As to provide visual evidence to the observers in the control tower that the wheels were in fact down when the aircraft was approaching to land because pilots had previously flown only fixed gear P-26As. This aircraft was transferred to Brazil in March 1942 under Lend-Lease.
It´s a Scissors and Planes kit at 1/100th scale with a repaint made by me. Best Regards. José Antonio Rodríguez aka Proudly Tigertony100.

Nice! Always had a soft spot for the P-36.

P-36 was a handsome plane in my eye ,much more so than P-40. Very nice model TigerTony.

I'm happy that idea from Midway thread proved useful once again. Bruno alone did so many models one can came up with many more similar threads. Add to that multitude of other model makers and possibilities are nearly endless.

Thank you Pablo for the Invite;

As I understand Defending America may include deliberating keeping our enemies away from the North American continent. By fighting in foreign lands such as in North Africa aren’t they Defending America?

For kicks here’s one of my paintings; an SAS spotted by a “Saetta” open cockpit Macchi MC 200; North Africa 1942.

Many Thanks my friends! Your contributions and comments are very welcome! And as Karol said, the universe of Scissors and Planes models is so vast that it provides many topics.

Repainting a model and then photographing to exactly match a historical photo looks like a fun game.
(But I do wonder if you have the exhausts back to front?)
