Some more done on the Mig. Basically...warts, blobs and add-ons. Some were...er...tough to make look good. But I'm moving forward and on to the wings. I like how it looks overall even though it'll be a 5-footer.

Coolio.

I still hope you will build a mash-up of these two kits, so we get a delta wing biplane and a supersonic jet with a rotary engine ;-)

I can definitely see that! Especially how the wings went on the ol' Mig. Ouch. Not pretty.

But here they are! Moving on to put the external stores racks and then the landing gear and she'll be basically done.

More Nieuport work tonight!

Thanks, Ray. I think you'd weep if you saw it in person.
I got the externals on and I must say, I'm proud of my pointy-missle-like things. I actually successfully rolled those and they came out pretty nicely. Looks much more menacing with all of that on!

Only major things left are the landing gear and wheels and a pito tube.

Someone asked me to build an F-4 as a worthy opponent aircraft. Could someone point me in the right direction for a neat color scheme that screams "I can fight Migs"? I don't know if Navy, or Marine or Army would be more suitable. Out of my depth here.

It would look cool with an adversary even if this one says it's Polish.

Coming along and Happy New Year to everyone!

Dan

Found this...would it be correct for my question above?

Sure looks cool but I wonder if I need to have one with the jungle camo...

Dan

Hot diggity! Apparently one of these from the USS Constellation shot down a Mig-21 in 1972. Now I need another better Mig-21 in Vietnam People's Airforce scheme. Hmmm...

The MiG turned out beautifully, Dan.
