Hot diggity! Apparently one of these from the USS Constellation shot down a Mig-21 in 1972. Now I need another better Mig-21 in Vietnam People's Airforce scheme. Hmmm...
Dan, an F-4, either Navy or USAF would be an appropriate adversary. Just a matter of finding
one marked as CMDR Randy Cunningham, USN or COL Robin Olds, USAF if that is important to you. Both were aces.

If it's a Polish MiG perhaps it could be up against an RAF Jaguar, F4, Buccaneer or Lightning if in European NATO airspace?

Thanks for the info, Ray. I'll see what I can do since Santa did give me some $$. I think I'd like to do the Mig justice and while this one looks ok, it's definitely a little rough and ragged.

I just added the top wing to the Nieuport. Surprisingly easy compared to the Mig! Or...more likely...I'm just more familiar and practiced with planes from 1916!

More soon,
Dan

Nice work on wing geometry. Looks like it's almost ready to take down those damn fokkers!

Got the 11 rigged. Now they are both at the same stage. They look interesting posed together!

Thanks for looking...Dan

P.S. Just had one of our electronic paper model meetings. It was great and we had the limit of people on the free app we use. A lot of folks...That was fun and it was nice to see others papering and just catching up.

Both look great Dan!

However, we did not hit our limit. I believe we could actually host
up to 100. But I doubt the reliability of that many feeds at once.

Oh! Thanks, Ray. I thought 10-12 was about it and amazing. Maybe someday...

Nice seeing you today.

Got the gear on both. I'm glad the MiG isn't a tail sitter! More soon...

It really is amazing, that these planes are only ~40 years apart. Shows how fast the aviation progressed.
