Bob,

The clear tape canopy is a great idea.

This method could also be used to put windows in buildings and windshields on vehicles.

Hey Ken,

What I do for buildings windows, etc., is I tape a piece of tape down on the cutting table, then trace around the window. Then on the back side of the window I put on a regular piece of tape. Then I cut out the tape that I traced the widow on and remove it from the cutting table and place it on the outside of the window. This way you don't have excess tape on the outside of the model. I use this process on side windows of aircraft so I don't have glossy tape showing on the outside of the fuselage.
