Talon WIP
Hey all,
I was asked to design a model of the Talon fighter from the movie Stealth. Here's WIP Gamma build pics: http://www.comicspace.com/armorman/c...&comic_id=8609 I suck at trying to link photos, so you'll have to go there. |

It was fascinating to see how you developed the concept and the model. The Talon reminds me of some origami paper airplanes from a book our daughter-in-law from Taiwan gave me a few years ago. All of the folding and creasing of the paper gave the final model an interesting sculpted appearance, something like your Talon.

Well here's an update. This is the 4th rev of the engine assembly. Still having issues with the exhaust.

Hope these were worth the wait.
I wanted to get the prototype almost finished before I posted pics. The model is 17" long (1/48 scale, roughly). FYI: both the tail-fins and the wings fold in and down. I was going to try to engineer retractable landing gear, but that's not going to happen this time. I have to do some minor redesign on the landing gear and add some textures I missed. I also have to make the instructions. As I said early on, THIS IS NOT FOR A BEGINNING MODELER! I'll be selling this through ecardmodels when complete. |

Absolutely beautiful, and most certainly worth the wait. I'll be waiting at the checkout to pay for mine.
