Molt taylor's aerocar

Well I first built the large one a long time ago. Then I built the smaller version with clear windows. Next the micro mini one. So I thought it might be fun too build one with a detailed cockpit. So here it is.

MOLT TAYLOR'S AEROCAR

Mr. Taylor would probably have a heart attack if he saw what I did to his cockpit interior

:D

Nice range of builds - don't think Molt would have a problem with any of it. He certainly loved the design and you've done a great job with it.

Doesn't this model beg for a foamie RC version? If I had the experience with Depron I would give it a go! For now I need to finish the Super Corsair for Will and the Ecardmodels store.

Uhm, when i saw this plane/car on TV, it was a 2+2 seater... So the controls were on the left side, like a normal car (or sports plane)!

Legion, You are correct. It is a two seater, side by side. That's why Mr. Taylor will probably have a heart attack if he sees what I've done to his cockpit interior

Neat little model. I have it printed out but not started. Any idea what scale approx? It looks like about 1/32 just by eyeballing. By the way here's a shot of the ex-Bob Cummings Aerocar N102D interior. I would like to eventually do one in 1/25 to fit with the rest of my car collection. Blowing up this one seems the only way I'll get it, since the 2 to 4 hundred dollar prices I've heard for the old Gladden kit is way out of my range.

Oops. The photo disappeared. Lets try this again. There I got it plus a photo of the Gladden box. Anybody got one out there for 20 bucks I'll take it.
