Flyer Complete

Finally, the Wright Flyer is done! Have to say, this has not been my favorite project. For my taste, it's too little paper and too much wire and string! Now time to move on to a more paperful project.

Sweet build !

Despite the tedious bits, this look like a kit I would enjoy. But, definitely WITH lasercut pieces !

I built a few WW1 era planes years ago, (in paper), always a bit fiddly with all the wire and rigging.
I also ran into an effed up parts issue when I finally decided to tackle my Modelik F-16 Fighting Falcon (1:33). Had the fuslage, main wings and rudder built, then found the leading forewing parts were too small to actualy FIT.

Seriously annoying....

Glad to see you back, Rick, and glad to see that magnificent model finished!

I remember the beautiful 1/20 scale P-47D you built back in 2007.

I, too, have some threads for unfinished projects dating to 2007. Someday, I might finish one of them, vying for the longest-time-to-finish prize, but when it comes to quality of craftsmanship, you are in an entirely different universe.
