Nakajima 1/72 scale, a years time!
OK, this is finally done! This is one of the first planes that I ever started, may be the first. Then I got side tracked. I have messed with it a bit over the year, then i just finished it last night. As you can see, some parts really suck, and some look pretty good. I guess I learn something over the last year!
![]() I in no way did this model justice. It is a free download from http://kancho.muncho.org It is a two page model with a third page of torpedoes (that I have not built yet) and it is fairly well detailed. The color in the model is far better then on mine, as I printed this model onto yellow card stock. The model I did was the third variant, from the carrier Akagi, from 1941 and 42. I may reprint and try again, now that I have gained some experience. If you like 1/72 scale aircraft, then give this one a go. It is fairly large! Nice details, and free! Thank you to designer Kancho Iliev for making this great model available. CT:D |

Looks pretty decent to me, CT!
Kancho provided quite a selection of B5N "Kate's" to build. Wyvern |

Yeh, glad to finish it. I think the original print had some small parts for the front of the prop, but I must have lost them. I had done DN's torpedo boat 108, and paper ship wright's mortar raft, but I am pretty sure this was my first plane. Soon after I did a couple of FG models. Then any thing I could get my hands on! This stuff is addictive!

Geez, Corey! I'm amazed you've built anything what with all the brilliant design work you have been doing lately.
