Very nice build and design. I haven't had the nerve to try an airplane model before, but after seeing this I think I may have to take the leap and purchase this one.

Well it looks really good! It's one of the nicest finishes I've seen so far for this model. btw yours is the first I've seen with the canopy closed, I like.

Thanks Will. I'm pleased with the effect of the glossy stock. It's such a beautiful model, I didn't want to go half measures.
I've always thought that although accurate, the open canopy breaks up the lines of an aircraft.

Oh Mommy, you just keep knocking them outta the ball park. I was just in awe today over the FW then you post this. How about the next one you do, let us see your handy work as you build. I have a feeling you have the ability to teach a great deal. I for one look forward to more from you. Thanks for posting this Big, Bad, Mean Racing Machine!!!!!!!!!Rick

Thanks Papercut. I'll do my best to document the next build. It shoud be either the Halinski Mustang or Spitfire, I haven't decided yet. I just get so caught up, I forget to take pictures sometimes

Thanks Don. Looks good on a shelf, too. Got a great compliment, when my roommate's girlfriend asked, "Is that metal?"

That is really a pretty airplane, and the glossy paper is perfect. And thanks for all the pictures.
