FJ-3 Fury

Very nice. Is that based on a particular aircraft, or is it just a generic Fury?

VF-73 "Jesters".......... flew the FJ-3 Fury from 1956 -1958. Deployed with them off the USS Randolph CVA-15 in 1957.

It's in the Gull Grey/White scheme that was used after the Sea Blue you used on your Fury.

VF-73 used blue for their markings.......... VF-211 "Fighting Checkmates" had the same marking on their Furys but in red.
