Ryan pt-16 sport-trainer monoplane
I really like these trainers by FG, a pivotal point in aviation history from late 20's to late 30's. I sometimes have a little fun with them as well:D. Excite younger ones as possible card modelers
There are few airplanes like the classic Ryan ST and PT models. It came at the end of the golden age and reflects the engineering values of those halcyon days with its open cockpits and visible wire bracing. At the same time, the all metal construcion of the fuselage and low mono-wing showed the way into the next generation of aircraft. The Ryan served the USAAC as one of its primary trainers during the second world war on which thousands of pilots received their wings. Enjoy RYAN PT-16. with some strange pilots :D _________________
