Hi all.
Well, i ran to close this build. I'm fed up with that damned A6 !
Ok ok ok, i'm not pround of me, but i think i have finish with GPM model at 1/33 (maybe 1/2 of it later... but for now it's over)
I prefer real details instead of drawing ones. The structure is really light and don't help builders to make it.
For help us, we have just few drawing and some parts are really difficult to find inside (some of them stay a mystery for me...:o)
we must be warned that some models which are sold are really old, and the quality is really different with the last one (since 2000). Its really a pity to not be able to see a build with pictures of each models and to see how they looking for at the end.

please, excuse my english, i'm really tired and i forgot to use a translator when i began to write... hope every body understand :o:o:o

Hello, friend.
The clear canopy is a commercial type?

That's a great looking Intruder! It may not have been as nice as the F-4 or other newer models, but you made it great :D

If the model was difficult and had hard to follow instructions you couldn't prove it by me. You did a great job with this model. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to seeing more of your builds.

I agree totally with Paperwarrior....this is a great build build...

Many of these hand-drawn models could be so totally invigorated if the publishers would allow them to the digitally remastered for rerelease today...

I too was looking at this kit and decided not to purchase it. My initial concern was all the curves on the fuselage. Construction looked too complicated.
The engine inlets are not correct and need a rounder lip ( you should not see the compressor vanes so close to the inlet, engine is really set back further ). There is a Gomix canopy though that makes it a bit easier.

You made it look easy ( I know it is not ).

And yes, I would love to see some of the old kits digitally re mastered and corrected.

Regards

Isaac

Here is a view of the A-6 Grumman inlet that I took ( the engine cover is on though ). Notice the lips of the inlet are round and smooth. This particular A-6 is located not far away from me on an un used former Navy strip.
