Hey this looks great! The B-17 is one of my favorite planes from WWII. I'll be watching your thread with interest to see if it's something I want to tackle myself anytime soon.

Excellent detail. Beautiful model. Brought back memories - I had the priviledge of riding in a B-17 a number of years ago - what a neat ride.

That looks awesome Moshe!!!!! I need to pick up the B-17 kit too. It's my favorite plane of all time. I like the FG one, but it does leave something lacking. Of course, maybe we can get John Dell to redo those too :D

I am a huge B-17 fanatic! I'd love to do one of those. It's such a striking paint scheme. I have been working on B-17F and G models. It finally looks like my time will be freeing up so maybe I can get them done.

Moshe, your model is looking great. For the scale you are working in, that interior is amzing. I have on of those GPM B-17 kits, and to be honest I doubt whoever designed the interior has ever seen the actual inside of a B-17. Then again I'm a chronic rivit counter.

Keep up the excellant work! I'm looking forward to see it finished.

I like the sounds of that John!!! :D I agree with your thoughts on the accuracy of the interior as well. I've been in a B-17 countless times, and some things are a bit off. Moshe is doing an amazing job though!!! Must stress that over and over.

Hay guys thank you all for complimenting my craft.as for the interior of the b-17 ...what the model has to offer is not even close to the real thing ...all my reff material show meny differences starting with no head back rests... diffrent seats for the rest of the crow and the list gos on and on.
because of the resizing of this model i made a decision to keep it very simple and not get overboard with minute ditail that will not be seen any way from the outside (i.e. no throttle leavers etc..) stiking to paper all the way .
