Kyushu Q1W1 "Lorna" in 1/100 scale
Hello my friends!
I'm show my last model, at this time this a japan ASW aircraft Kyushu (Watanabe) Q1W1 "Lorna" one of few aircrafts designed in WWII for antisubmarine war. This model is from Kamppflieger, I buy in Ecardmodels this a 1/100 scale... Cheers! |

Excellent work on that very small model. I've had this one in my "to do" pile since it first appeared and am very pleased to see how very good your model looks.
Incidentally, there is a good discussion of magnetic anomaly detector (MAD)-equipped IJN aircraft in general, and the Q1W1 Tokai in particular, with lots of info on the MAD gear and the use of the broken circle marking clearly visible on the fuselage of your model, as well as LOTS of photos of Tokais in this J-Aircraft Forum thread: ASV/ASW Aircraft (TOKAI & Type 0 Recon Floatplane), Units, Tactics, & Markings *PICS* Don |

Not an aircraft I'd seen before. Very Ju-88 in its overall design. Nice clean build, especially at that scale!
