Northrop F-5E TigerII 1:33

Hi everyone. It's now a raining season in Bangkok, heavy raining which is good for grass and trees which are all green and also for poeple in lower temperature after too long of very hot & dry period.

The Northrop F-5E/F TigerII is the development version from F-5A/B/C Freedom Fighter, the light-weight / low-cost / easy maintenance jet fighter for USA's alliance countries around the world. The E/F version has more powerfull engines, add up radar and fire control systems, higher payload, longer range than F-5 A/B/C but still low-cost & easy maintrenance. It has been serving several countries from 1970s up to now and not retired yet. It is one of the most successful fighter of its time.

Come back to my model. I did this kits almost 2 years ago. This kit from DESIGN is very detail and the parts are fit well. The color is the F-5E prototype which is seldom be seen.

Superb work. And I like the way you lay the parts and substructures out for the photos.

The model before canopy. I made the canopy from the secmented transparent plastic sheet because I have no skill of vacuum forming.

The model after attached the pylons, center line drop tank and Sidewinder missiles.

Hi Squirrel, I've completed this kit about 2 years ago since when I did not know about this great website. I did it over the weekend and took about two months to finish it.

The photos after completely attached the weapons. Actually these weapons are too heavy for F-5E to carry it all at once but i think it made the kit more interesting.
