very nicely done, you did a good job on the nosecone. who is this FLY that designed this? I'd like to know where I can take a look at some of his/her designs for future builds. Your model looks great, and the missiles just make it look that much better, well done.

"FLY" is Fly Models, a Polish publisher of printed models in 1:33 scale. They are now operating under the name Fly/GOMIX. This model is apparently a scan of the printed model, reduced in size to 1:50.

Excellent work here, especially given the complex and difficult fuselage curves. You must have made your own canopy and that also looks great. You nailed the nose.

Outstanding work and very beautiful curve for the fuselage. I wish to see its performance!

Hallo again,

thank you all for your comments.
I'm not a native english speaker, so my writting isnt as fluent as yours.
I started work on this plane last year as an experiment. Most of the experts prefer planes in 1:33 scale - nobody (but me) is really interested in 1:50 scale - experts think this scale lacks important details. I dont think so - so I scaned the damned bird - scaled it down to the desired format - cut the parts - glue it - add some more details - and so on. There are so many things we can do to improve the plane - maybe next time, when I continue on the Su-family.
The detailed report about this build can be found here:
Kartonbau.de - Alles rund um's Kartonmodell... | abgeschlossene Bauberichte | [FERTIG] FLY-Model #38 Su27B "Flanker" 1:33 downsized to 1:50
The report is written in german language - but dont hesitate to ask for translation or more details.
