I should stay off the technical words it's just the free subroutine that comes with Meta that automatically merges 2 parts for unfolding ie cuts holes in decks. Still not a good explanation

The flight deck is finally glued down there are a couple of not so good joins on the starboard hanger joins down to my bad cutting. Otherwise I am reasonably happy with her. I shall edge the deck sides with thin cardboard to cover the joins.

The Hawkeye is built using 140gsm card throughout it went together pretty well and at this scale looks like a Hawkeye. I will try to improve the landing gear it's out of position and construct a better nose cone. It will be tail heavy so it will have to be glued in place.

For 1/300 the Hawkeye's looking really good so far.
