oooh this might just convince me to try my hand at a boat build!
and Barry's stuff is most excellent dude! just how big would this be? and how difficult would it be to scale down this type of model (for those of us who have little or no room for anything more than a 1/72 scale RowBoat! lol)?

scaling
Thanks chaps
Size is about 46 inches. It should scale down quite easily. Jim Krauslis scaled Spruance down to 1/600 without trouble and made a waterline job. Looking forward to doing something new |

launched
Well it's off the plank thank goodness that things heavy. I have left the aft deck plate unglued at the moment so I can have a last minute panic the stern does not fit and also I don't trust standard printers to be accurate to a miillimeter over 4 sheets. The top looks flat so I am happy enough so far.
