Well the only things I found were links for the 8th and 71st Special Operations Squadrons.
71st http://www.aetc.af.mil/library/facts...et.asp?id=6200 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/71st_Sp...tions_Squadron 8th http://www2.hurlburt.af.mil/library/...et.asp?id=3481 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/8th_Spe...tions_Squadron Here is a pretty large side profile of a CV-22, but I do not know which squadron it belongs to. http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/1...684k939nl6.jpg Another side profile http://lh5.ggpht.com/_tZvaSkJ37dw/R4...V22+Osprey.jpg I would copy those markings, in red, and then it be all black. Sorta like this shot that I took one year at an airshow I also have some shots of a CV-22 that was on static display there. |

Another update
Well Jeff, here is another update with a couple more small alignment recommendations.
Current overall shot Attachment 1928 Part 17, green is slightly low on both sides compared to the large green section. Attachment 1929 Part 11, I think the green should go up to the black line in the middle of the door so that it blends well with the green section. Attachment 1930 |

Robert;
some more good pics, and very excellent work once again. I'll work on those parts you pointed out tommorow during the day and shoot them off to you as soon as I'm done, should not take long to redo.. I have a couple of thoughts on the forward piece with the door I'll do up them up and include them to see what you think. Jeff |

No Prob, Chris. I'm emailing you the new parts pages they were small cosmetic fixes , but the color seperation flows a lot more smoothly now.

Jeff,
Sorry to mention, but of the two most recent pages you sent, the one with the nose section.....you edited part 11 by adding the angled green line....but it also has the old part 6 before you put the yellow strip which would be next to the canopy windows and line up with the yellow of part 5. Essentially, you have the same page...edited twice to correct color alignments...but two different pages. I know...too many things going on at once LOL!:D |
