CS Navy
Hello al,
I have a number of first and second draft designs of Confederate ships waiting for pictures/editing so that I can get them up and running. Some of these I have one builder working on. As usual, I like to get thoughts, ideas, and corrections from two builders before I go a head and call it "ready". These are all 1/250 scale, waterline models. Most have 2-3 card stock pages, a cover page, contents page and diagram pages, Usually totaling seven pages. I need to know what you think as far as overall appeal, how it went, did the parts fit? Diagram accuracy-and usefulness. And spelling/grammar errors. Anyhow, let me know if you are interest in any of these. As I said, I have in most case another person working on them but I feel I need two, and of coarse, I will use the best pictures for the shop as well. CSS Missouri-simple, no inside CSS Huntsville/Tuscaloosa with cut a way and gun deck CSS Tennessee-limited insid parts, no cut a way CSS Palmetto State, limited inside no cut a way. All have basic deck fixtures and ships boats. Let me know and I can send you the PDFs. I have about five more nearing completion including the CSS Georgia, CSS Savanna, CSS Chattahoottee gun boat, a 1814 gunboat, and CSS Chicora. Thanks, CT |

I did some more work on the Georgia today and decided that it will be a full hull or waterline kit with a number of hull options. The people who have dived on the wreck have been able to confirm (more or less) the size and shape of the casement but the hull is a mystery. The Savannah and Chicora are real similar to the Palmetto State with a few changes, The Chattahoochee is a bit more complicated because of the hull design but its coming along. I hope to have some kits for you soon!
