I have built the Japanese edition of both the CT and the LUT, but the version from Microartworks is in a class of it's own on detail!

I’m in favor of the Krupp K5(E) Eisenbahngeschütz.

I have a copy of the first printing and part number 1 is missing from the kit. If you are missing that part Email GPM and they will send you a PDF file for the part. This may have been corrected in later reprints of the kit. which ever model you choose I look forward to you next build.

I voted for Regulus. I have the kit and would love to see you build it before I give it a try. Enough gun models (big and small) in the world so forget the Leopold.

I was just checking out the very spectacular build of this model with our German neighbours: Kartonmodell-Forum | Architektur | Kernkraftwerk Olkiluoto 3, 1:350

There's no way that I can do a better job than that...

Eehhmmm... you have a very good point here! When I move out of Nigeria I will be giving away most models to schools probably, so maybe the Leopold is not such a good idea...

The lightning fixtures are very impressive, I like that model too. But don't be too modest about your building skills, you compare easily with your talent.

The next build will be RMS Titanic! Despite a clear win from the Leopold Railway Gun, I will probably be giving most of my builds in Nigeria away to elementary schools, so I'm choosing not to go for a big war machine. Regulus will remain high on the to-do-pile, and I will build SS Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse in the Netherlands someday, where I will be able to display it with my HMV builds of SS Augusta Victoria and SS Bremen IV.

by doing Titanic and giving it away the kids can learn some history along the way
and also we are soon coming to the 100th year since it sank, not much to celebrate but it did have a significant impact on security at sea which is still going on today, so depending how you want to look at it it might be something to celebrate anyway
