The free model is a good idea. make the free model match the scale.
And why does the smallest scale have to be the lowest rank?

Re: New levels....

Indeed a fun of smallest scale is advantaged with this kind of rank.

What about resolution rank?

or difficulty levels to build the model?

or a single model divided in more sheets and you gain a single sheet every rank?

or a whole Project divided in more models: for example a City. The first level is the Main Street, second is the Hall, third is a Museum, etc. Or an Airport: buildings, planes, devices, figures, etc.

????????

Re: New levels....

The question is interesting.

Anyway, in my opinion, we are just discussing about incentives to invite people to write posts....

What if we were all readers and no one poster? Nothing to read! ;D

That's a good point. I like to go with the duration you have been with ecardmodels but you must be a regular contributer so post count needs to be considered.

I like the idea of a single free model and you get a page as you progress. The new member could pick from a selection of free models at the start so they are not restricted to just planes.

Re: New levels....

Sounds a little complex to start (from a forum software viewpoint) I dont think my freebie software can handle that without modifications....
