The B****ing corner.

There have been various threads that have been usurped by grievances. I recommend that if you have a complaint, argument or discussion, bring it here and do not detract from the other members postings. Our works are for others to enjoy, instruct and share. Ill wills are very detrimental, especially nearing the end of the season that commemorates togetherness. Bring your best shots here and leave our threads alone. This is my b****, rhymes with witch.

No grievances, just wondering what the heck is going on???

I have been seeing people snip, snipe, and snap all week (real life, and a couple of other forums).

Flame wars and paper modeling don't mix...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! !

I went to pick up my nephew yesterday to take him to see Tron in IMAX 3D. I pull into the apartment parking lot. The parking lot holds maybe 25-30 cars. There are about 5 cars in the lot.

I parked in a space and got out to go get him. As I walked towards the building. A window slides open and some woman starts giving me grief about parking in the space. She said she is getting complaints. I asked her how she was getting complaints about a car parked there for less than 10 seconds. She tells me to park at the far end and I had to walk all the way back in the rain.

Are people's lives that pathetic that they have to sit in a window and bark at someone for such a small little thing?

Sad.

Normally I would have just said 'get bent' but I have no idea who she was and I was in the midst of having a day with my nephew.

Control freaks.

I had a co-worker that once observed that the more a person feels things are out of control, the more they try to over-control the things they think they can control.

People are upset with the airlines, they yell at the rental car people, etc.

My current theory is that this Season of Brotherhood and Joy was invented in order to counteract our natural human tendency to want to kill somebody at this most depressing time of year.
It seems to work for me... most of the time.

As paper modellers we have to accept that Christmas time is for getting new paper, the latest knife and nifty scissors. Time off gives us time to build now all we have to do is work out how to entertain the wife and kids so we are not disturbed.
