There was a DO17 found out on the Goodwin Sands of the coast there which the RAF Museum Hendon plans to recover and restore.
Dornier for RAF Museum
I've not been to Deal for about 20 years and I'm kind of worried how it's faired. The Marines have gone as has the Military School of Music Ramsgate has lost the hovercraft port even Dover has reduced ferry services I doubt if there's much fishing going on so I don't know how they are surviving. At least it sounds like they are getting tourist!.
