From the looks of the parts in the pics it was just the folding portion of the tail boom, and the folding stabulator halves had broken loose and were hanging at angles to make it look swept, the tail rotor was the same kind of a H-60 variant. I worked on the UH-60 for a number of years in the Army, hard to mistake those parts, The parts shown most likely would have been from SH-60, or MH-60, they all have the folding rotors, tail boom and stab for ease of loading for shippment to where ever needed.

it is an interesting looking bird, but i'm not sure how "stealth" it really could be. no matter how you shape it, the main rotors (depending upon angle to radar) would be a liability. you just have to have main rotors. maybe a jamming or spoofing system is also used.
i think more gamers are interested in a model of the compound itself... but i'm pleased some of the lessons learned from "desert one" have been implemented successfully.

Nebeltex - I am confused by the raid. The news here said they came in by helicpoter and then fought UP the building from the bottom. Is that right?

yes, i believe that is what they did. there may have been limited access to the main house from above. traditional urban house to house fighting, with connected buildings, is best done from the top down. this is partly because it can be tricky to throw grenades up stairs in a fire fight and have them stay there. once a structure is secured, an upper connecting wall is breached and the next adjacent building is assaulted. if there are similar buildings across the street, progress down a street is coordinated with assaualts on those as well.
for the abbottabad raid, there was just the single main structure that presented the challenge and it was only neccessary to use standard room clearing techniques to secure it after landing in the compound's clearing.

If somebody can find some good 3-views, I'll give it a go (I suck at web searching...3 hours searching and nada) If there aren't any 3-views, I might have to wing it.
