Bragging

Last weekend my local IPMS chapter attended a show/competition in Memphis, the 2007 King Con. Since IPMS now includes paper model categories in the nationals, I decided to purchase an IPMS membership and enter my models. Very graciously the organizers accepted my entries but since I was the only card modeler that entered the competition, they were forced to enter my models into the Miscellaneous category. They did offer to create a paper category if more paper modelers showed up. People loved the models and showed a lot of interest in the subject. I had a great time. What topped it off is that I brought something back:

Long live paper!!!

Paul

Sweet, Paul! Congrats and perhaps next time there will be some paper competition! Of course, since I never leave the island I live on, I probably won't be the one! But job well done! Very cool to win an award against some other medium!

Nice going Pawel,

most importantly, you took away two prizes from two P*****c kits

I think your Hurricane beats mine

Is that a Hellcat?
I just found a Halinski Hellcat in my drawer, and I'm really hoping that's it :p

Awesome work!

Thank you very much guys I have to admit that I really enjoyed stealing awards from p*****c.

Gharbad: this is the Halinski Hellcat - great model. Practically assembles itself.

Yay!
The kit looks fantastic... and somehow I forgot about it, where it sunk beneath old junk in a drawer.
