Is anyone also waiting for the Halinski 1/200 IJN FUSO?

Well, I just found there're some updates in the Prototype section.

It looks great!

The Polish home page says the possible price is 100 zlotych,
but doesn't mention about when it will become available.

I feel that it's like the carrot in front of the horse for now. :D

---
Jason, when you get it, I'll be very appreciated if you inform me it's time to buy!

On the front page in both Polish and English the publisher mentions the release date as end of August.
Great model - the amount of details is simply staggering.

Popala,

You're right! I must be negligent.
Thanks for you answer.

Oh, come on, not negligent - we all have our days when things stare us in the face but we just can't see them

I only wish I had the skill to take on a model like that.

Digital Navy has an excellent 1:250 model of the Fuso. I'm sure the Halinski kit will be more detailed (translation=have a gazillion more itty-bitty pieces) but the Digital Navy model has the advantage of being digital and reprintable.

You're right! The Digital Navy's IJN Fuso is really a classic to me.

I'm also very interested in building it, and I'm sure I'll enjoy very much.

But my printer isn't good enough, and I'm a little lazy to choose the paper. :D

So, let Halinski to take care the printing quality and paper.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your recommendation.

Ron,
Don't forget that DN and Halinski's Fuso are really two different ships.
Roman designed his model in the original configuration and Halinsk's will be as the ship appeared in 1944 with longer stern to accomodate aircraft operations and also the gazilion (I love this word :D) AAA guns.

I just wish I had the skill and the time to tackle beasts like that..........

The next interesting question will be:

how will be the Halinski FUSO compared to the FUSO published by answer, earlier this year. I have the answer model with all extras available and now I wait for the Halinski one.

Could answer hold the line with the agressive model policy against Halinski ?

Good point on the version differences, Michael. Do we know what version the Answer model represents? Jorg, what sort of extras are available for the Answer model?
