PaperModelers.com Calendar for 2014...?

I keep getting asked about doing another paper modelers Calendar.

I've been pretty blunt with my answers...
basically saying I didn't want to waste valuable time.

But to be honest, the two Calendars I have done so far...
one for here in 2011 (Paper Modelers)
and then one from my own forum
in 2012 (cutandfoldforum.com)
...were not a waste of time.

yes, they were a lot of work,
and took a fair amount of time to produce
but I enjoyed doing them both and sharing them with all you.
And I don't mean to be so rude about it.
(I just didn't get a lot of response with the last calendar, and I
questioned whether it was really worth the effort.)

So...if you would like to see another exclusive Calendar
produced for the members of papermodelers.com
...in 2014
...I would be happy to do one.

I will edit the photos, create the layout and produce the final PDF,
using the Calendar template I created for the first Calendar...
but someone else has to do the work collecting the content.
Basically sort out the selection of images to be used in the calendar.

We would need at least 12 feature images for each Month.
Either single, high quality, large images
or another option is a Topic or Model for each Month
using a collection of smaller images.
I personally prefer the idea of one large image, but with my own Calendar I made collaged images for each Month.

And we will also need some secondary images, much smaller,
to fill out some of the empty spaces on the calendar pages.

Think about it...I'll leave the idea with you.
Theres still plenty of time in the year to sort it out.
Anyone interested in organizing this for me?

For reference, here are the 2011 and 2012 calendars.

I had your 2011 calendar hanging next to the computer. Didn't know you'd done a 2012 or at least didn't catch it if you posted about it here.

With doing the POTW, I normally edit the pictures, most of the time I need to resize them for the front-page, it would be no problem to keep a separate file for the full-size pictures.( They are 640 p wide) There is always the picture itself in the POTW-thread, and always a link to the original thread.

I really do miss not having a 2013 calendar to look at this year. The past two years hang right beside my desk at work to look at each day.
I would love to have another one for 2014. I really appreicate all the time and effort that you put into this project. Thank you.

I did a 2012 Calendar which I released at the CutandFold Forum...this was just after World War Z...so I was on vacation from this place.

Once a model was picked (for consideration as a feature in the calendar), I then set
about contacting the owner/builder...not only for permission to include their model
in the Calendar, but also to acquire the largest and best quality images.
The average size for images was more than 3000px wide (and 300dpi if possible).

I deliberately avoided POTW models when I did the 2011 Calendar, but that was just
my approach to deciding which models and PM members to use.
I just went through the Forums, finding interesting and noteworthy candidates
and then eliminated any that could not provide suitable photos (or give permissions).

But I will agree to whatever choices are made (as long as someone else makes the
decision as to what models are used and gathers all the images and relevant information).
