I've downloaded them but haven't had a chnace to watch them yet - I was put off by all the negatives vibes from fans before they screened so am waiting for a rainy day...much like today actually...I am on of the 'leave its' for Caprica although in all fairness I only started to watch one episode and didn't even make it halfway through before reaching for the remote...

It looks OK to me, so far, once I got past the blurry digital sets. Looks like we're going to need a revised Galactica model, among others.

Caprica had its moments.
In fact it seemed to be going somewhere about two thirds into it...
I gave it a shot and watched most of the episodes.

But then, knowing the show was doomed,
I think the producers just gave up.
And focused more on trying to wrap up a story rather than produce anything worth watching.

So for fans of the amazing BSG reboot, Caprica was a big let down.
Focusing too heavily on people and emotions and not enough on Toasters.

Blood and Chrome is a failure waiting to happen in my opinion.

I'm a big BSG Next Gen fan...and nobody wishes for more BSG than me.
But Blood and Chrome is a huge disappointment.

First off, the goal was to create a bigger and more expensive sequel (prequel?).
...no way the Studio would go for it.

To produce something to show, they relied on scenes and images pulled from existing BSG episodes.
Scans of previous sets pulled from older video and previously used CGI.
Maybe they figured they would create new stuff once they got the money?

To hide the poor and low quality imagery
they have relied on blurring things, adding lens flares
and getting ridiculously carried away with camera zooms and shakes.

Add to that the annoying and unbelievable character of young Bill Adama
(who you want to slap every time he opens his mouth)
and this program is destined for nitpicking and ridicule.

I've already heard the comparisons to "cocky and arrogant Starbuck".
But she already had experience as a Fighter Jock.
Not to mention a personal relationship with her Commander (Adama),
that allowed her to get away with the cocky attitude.

Not only does this "new" Adama not reflect the Adama we all know,
but he wouldn't be tolerated as much as he is (in this show).

Parts 1 and 2 of Blood and Chrome are only 10 minutes long each.
Apparently the Pilot episode has been broken down into a few "webisodes".
So its not a ton of torture...if you really have to watch it.
(And because its BSG Next Gen, I have to watch it!)

But lets hope, if this thing ever gets the greenlight to come back for more,
they get enough money to do it right.
I'm not interested in Caprica in Space.

Anyone seen the new Munsters?...

Webisode 3&4

Ladies and gentlemen,

Here are webisodes 3&4 in one video clip.

It looks like they have recycled a few of the old actors from the first series.

Next webisode will be 26th of November

ENJOY!!!

Yeah, I've seen the new Munsters, Airdave. I was very surprised. I actually enjoyed it! And I was originally one of those fans of the original who thought the producers were just going to rip it to shreds. But I would watch it if they decided to do it. I really love the new house.
