Replaceable parts for commercial models?

I'm working on my third card model (SpaceShipOne, that I downloaded from the Card models - an introduction site). Four times I've made mistakes that were bad enough that I had to print out an extra copy of one of the parts sheets. This is not a problem with a freebie, but I wonder if it is possible to obtain replacement sheets for a large commercial model. I would be nervous about spending $10 or $20 (which is not a huge amount, but not trivial, nonetheless) and having to scrap a model or rebuy the entire kit if I make a mistake. Are replacement sheets ever available for commercial models?
