Nice to see the old Lynx again. I was in the RhAF and was accustomed to them around me. They did a heap of good work for us!

Dupart - glad you liked the Lynx. PM me if you have any photos...... Maybe we can also meet up some time - we are in the same part of the world.

I am fiddling with a repaint of paper of a paper model at the moment which I want to mod to a Lynx. Not too successful so far.

Never mind about all the right clicking, I have another one lined up that is interesting! This weekend maybe.

Will also experiment - seems to me that Google works on image recongnition so there may be a way to deal with this!

A blurry pic of a Phantom?
Looks like you found the Google "The URL doesn't refer to an image or the image is not publicly accessible" response.

I concur. Someone's has an F-4 (possible) US Navy by the looks of the color in their parking lot.. I hate to be the one to pay the monthly parking fees on it

Looker - I thought I would give the "right clickers" a rough day, show them the world is not perfect, and tax the old brain cells a bit........

Stefan - the aircraft is at RAF Akrotiri and has been parked there for about 10 years so a derelict Phantom it must be?

Have look at the thread here for some other interesting aircraft......

Back in 1978, when I was posted there, there was a derelict Vulcan along the backroad. The Firemen used it for crash drills, so there wasn't a lot left of it. ... BUT ... someone had to have it on signature.

Vulcans have a large lead nose weight as part of their inventory ... so ... he who shall not be named, but a member of the diving club ... ordered a new one every year ... to replace the melted one. Made a lot of diving weights did that lead ingot.
