I happened upon a cool free app for Windows PCs that gives real-time and statistical measurements of your bandwidth usage. It begins keeping track of your bandwidth usage as soon as you install it. Has your ISP imposed a bandwidth limit on your account? Do you have any idea how much data is downloaded when you watch a 30 minute streaming TV program (34 megabytes)? Or are you just curious to know how much data you're uploading and downloading? This program will tell you. You can install it on every computer in your home and turn on the web server built into the program so you can check each of them from one computer - or not use the web server.
