Manilla FFolder Models
A friend recently told me that in the UK during the 60's and 70's there was a subculture of modelers building models out of manila file folders. I've been trying to find information on techniques, but I have been unsuccessful so far. Does anyone know anything more about this?

When I first got into Paper modelling, I'd cut my dad's manila folders in half, then run them through his inkjet printer to print models on, then cut them out. One day I was at a Walmart looking for a box of manila folders and found my first ream of cardstock. I was in heaven.

I do not know about the UK group, but there are a number of modelers building with manila folder (apart from the famous highly-detailed airliner of Luca Iaconi-Stewart).
