rcieved some phtos from the Fall Furry Festival

In October, the shelter I volunteer at had the Fall Furry Festival. I received a couple of photos from them. I was with Betsy that day. She's a German Shepard/Corgi mix with a few hip issues but otherwise a totally sweet dog.

Aww, such a sweet-looking dog. Wish we were closer, We'd adopt her in a second. Got two rescue dogs already. Sweetest, gentlest things in the world. Kudos to you for your volunteer shelter work too.

Thank you for your kind comments. Betsy really is a sweetheart. I'm not sure if she is up for adoption right now but if they were to ask me to foster her, I would. I already have one sweet little foster dog from there named Trixie. Trixie is 14 years old and no one adopts babies that might be on their last months or maybe their last year or so. Volunteering at a no-kill facility is so very rewarding and such a blessing to serve the needs of homeless future adoptees. I would highly recommend it to anyone with the available time.

I too applaud your volunteer work at the shelter. And I hope for all the best for Betsy.
