Being the old reprobate that I am, I still celebrate Dominion Day, and have never bothered to learn the new version of O Canada...now where's my Red Ensign dammit...

Oh yeah! Just wish I could eat stuff like that. Haven't been able to for about 10 years due to cholesteral around 300 and tipping the scales near 230. I'm on Lipitor now and my numbers are way down, but not my weight.

In 1998 I was on a suicide mission, with food. I weighed 305 lbs. and my cholesterol was 1200. The doc came in with a white face and told me "you should be dead". I cannot get my cholesterol below 300 (thanx Dad). Sorry Douglas for supporting further straying from the original topic.

My favorite Aussie beer is canned in Canada, Fosters! I bet it would go good with fries and Gravy. Would that be Canadian Fries as opposed to the French style?

The great thing about Canada is the fact that you can pretty much factor any other culture into here which makes it so great.
Here on the East Coast we are known for several things (Salt Dried Cod, Lobsters, Clams and Chips and last but not least Donairs). lol |

Happy Canada Day to all of our northern neighbors.
About the only thing I know about it is they have lots of friendly modelers and wa-ay to much frosty white stuff for this old desert rat.
