Look in "My Computer" (or "This PC" if using Win10). The camera should show on a separate drive letter as a USB drive. Click on this to open the drive, where you should find a DCIM folder containing the camera folder.

OK. Another route in ... Bearing in mind that I'm using Win 10 and Win 7 will vary a bit ... Where you've found the camera in 'Devices and printers' ... right click on it and select 'Browse files' ... keep clicking through ... that should lead you (probably through DCIM) to your pictures.

good plan but when you right click it that is not an offered option
options are modem settings dial up net work create shortcut troubleshoot properties i am sorely tempted to give up on this and go buy a new digital-they come with set up discs

I'm out of options to offer. I'll have to plug my camera into a Win7 PC and have a play. The only Win7 one I've got is a laptop that hasn't been fired up for a month or two ... so it's gonna go into update meltdown mode as soon as it's booted. So it's gonna take a wee while before I can experiment, and seein' as 'ow it's 0230hrs here, that ain't gonna start happening 'til tomorrow afternoon now, 'cos I'm orf to bed.
Ni-nite.

My little Olympus only cost a tenner brand new, via Amazon I think, but that was a few years back now. Takes better pics than a phone though.
It's an Olympus VG-150, but I don't think they still make them.

My Computer is a standard windows folder that may or may not be on your desktop.
My Computer is the old name...now its just called Computer. Windows 7?...look for the Start button...lower left of the screen. Click it. Then click "Computer" on the right side of all the items, just above "Control Panel". Then you'll see a window showing all your drives and attached devices. Same window as in my last image that I posted (Post 38) Connect your cameraphone and give it a moment. Look for your camera... another device should appear under your Drives and Devices . It may be listed as an external device, a USB device, a drive, or your camera. (Windows 7 should actually recognize and list the device by its actual name) Double click it and start going deeper into the folders. You're probably going to look for a "Camera" folder or a "DCIM" folder. This is where your photos are stored.
