Thanks for the clarification, Rick. That's all I was asking for.

May I suggest (again) that you post a notice to this effect? After doing so, anyone posting about these subjects is fair game as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks again and sorry 'bout the mess.

I guess limit entertainment also!

I am ashamed and embarass that I make a post that perhaps start all this issue in the first place. But it did not say it was not allow... It did say off topic was fine.

Rick, some good calls limiting certain subjects. But I think an off topic area is a good thing (sometimes), because, as an example, I build a model with a religious theme, say a church. Then I do a build thread in the building's section of the forum, what stops members going off topic in the thread I start up. It's happened before. This then causes the off topic conversations kicking off in the main part of the forum. This could happen in any of the subjects that you have listed. Some people hate sports, some people love it, some people are very political, some people arn't. Etc,etc, etc..

I won't be doing an ignore threads like Jason has posted (although it's a good idea), cause I do like some of the off topic conversations that go on, even if I don't post in the threads I still read some of them.

I've come to learn (only recently)that when I see a topic I don't like or feel to 'heavy' about, I just don't read it, but if the thread go's on for a long time I may pop in and have a look, to see whats happening.

Absolutely no need to feel bad about it - you're exactly right and that's why I brought it up in the first place.

It's settled now. Even better, it's settled to everyone's satisfaction as far as I can tell. That's something!

Time to move on.
