Shocking news.
I never met him, but he was one of the giants of paper/card modeling. Passed so quickly . . . . leaving a huge void here. |

I never had the chance to meet him in person, but I did correspond with him once. He had posted a copy of a colored drawing of an N3N. I told him that I had learned to fly in that aircraft and asked if he would permit me to make an enlargement of his drawing to use as a centerpiece of a display of photos that I was creating on my library wall. He told me not to use that posted copy. He said that he was emailing me a raster copy so that I could make it as large as I wanted, without losing any detail. The man had heart and will be missed. I wish him clear sky and gentle tailwinds.

Alas, sorry to hear this. I enjoyed his contributions. Strange yet wonderful how connected we can all feel through this hobby.
