I'm in the Nautical Research Journal

Last fall, I completed Fiddler's Green's Whaleboat model with a lot of scratch-built details. (New Bedford Whaleboat) The Nautical Research Journal had earlier published my article on paper ship models that introduced museum-quality papercraft to the readers of the NRJ. I sent photos of my whaleboat to the editor of the NRJ and he asked for another article. It just came out in the summer 2021 issue.

I will try to write one paper ship article a year for the Journal. I want to spotlight unusual subjects or museum-quality models from kits. NRJ readers responded positively to my earlier article and the editor likes paper models. With a little luck, I'll lure a few traditional ship modelers over to "the Dark Side."
