Gil Benson aka paperguy
One of the early attendees of the Army Heritage Days Paper model displays, Gil Benson, has passed away July 6 at the young age of 90. He will be missed by those of us who knew him and enjoyed a spirited conversation about big ten teams, Vernor's soda, Porsche Boxsters, and of course paper models.
Rest in Peace, Gil. Greg

I am sorry to hear of Gil's passing, and I am sorry that I lost touch with him in recent years. Thanks for this sad information, Greg. If you have contact info for Jeannie, I'd be grateful if you would email or PM me.

Sad news undead. Gil was a great guy. We always joked back and forth about him being from the red rose city and myself from the neighboring white rose city. I'm sure going to miss his friendship.
