IDF/Israeli Police firearms - markings/painting question.

Dear friends!

Besides papermodeling, I am a gun enthusiast and collector.

I own a Izraeli Galil SAR rifle, which is currently under restoration process to its original condition from extensive modifications done by previous owner. He stated that before his modifications, the rifle had a leftover of blue markings (paint I think) on the folding stock/buttstock, being a ex-IDF/Police weapon.

Unfortunately, I can not find any proof and pictures to support this if any IDF service firearms were marked this way.

So, my question is: is here anybody - papermodelers from Israel, gun enthusiast, anyone - who can help with any input?

Thank you in advance!

Strk.
