Any interest in a Google map?

I love this idea...I did one on my own Forum, but I just created a Map image and added peoples locations as they submitted them.

Couple of problems with using the Google map...

First you have to sign up for and be logged into a Google account (which is notorious for information gathering!). many poeple will not like this.

Second...the Maps can be difficult to operate at times. Many users are lost.
I'm pretty computer savvy and I found it confusing.

Third...once any users click "edit", they can edit any information on the map...including existing place markers, all existing entries, etc. For example, I accidenatlly clicked on and moved someones marker (don't worry, I made sure it got back to the right place)...but you have to hope nobody decides to mess with it!

but if it matters (since I am Mr Negative today) I am on there!!

That's okay Hermit- I'm the only one in the entire Midwest right now. The closest one to me is in Texas.

You just failed Geography. The British Isles are a part of the European continent.:p (although not part of the mainland)
