Any interest in a Google map?

We now have so many members from so many different locations that it occurred to me to try to make a Google map to see how much of the world we cover. This is my first map and I don't know if I created it properly. I'd appreciate anyone trying to add their location and any feedback. If there's any interest and it seems to be working maybe we can get Jason to add it to the front page. Here's the link:

I guess I forgot to add that you need to click Edit in the upper left corner so you can add your location. By the way, if anyone has done this before and has some helpful hints, it would be much appreciated.

Joe,

Right now what you have, and what you put out, is just a map of the US, when I went to it, I did not see your "pushpin"

Do a search for google maps location map, or something similar.

I know there are sites out there that allow you to set something like this up.

I think that paperjerry on cardmodels.net had created something like that for us to use, there at least.

If you need my help, just ask, seeing that making maps is what I do.

But I would recommend doing a search for something already premade to use it for your intended purpose

Rick

I had a feeling I may have done something wrong. When I click the link I also see the map of the US, but when I click My Maps, I am taken to the map I created. I made it a public map, but I guess I don't know how to link directly to it.

Let's see if this one works as a shared collaboration.

Really cool way to see where all our members are.
Great idea, Barx2!
Cecil, How do others go about adding there location to this map?
Oh, I also see we are close neighbors.
I live in Spartanburg County, SC

Russell, Just click on the EDIT button in the upper left corner of the map. We WILL be close neighbors in October after Essie and I move from New Mexico to WNC.
