When a modeler starts with a block of wood and ends up with the HMS Victory in 1/32 scale, I'd call that "serious." That's a modeler who needs serious psychiatric help.

Seriously (there it goes again!), paper model ships are gaining traction in the ship modelbuilding world. NRJ has run several articles on paper models (some of them written by me) with more to come.
