Kooklik-Thai Paperwork U-Boat VIIC, 1:72 scale
Does anyone know where (or if) this kit is available? Neither Thaipaperwork nor Ecardmodels carries it anymore.
I have the kit on CD and built it several years ago. I'm going to enter it next month in the Midwestern Model Ships & Boats Contest at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, and I would like to able to list its availability, if any. I displayed some paper ship models there a few years ago. Last fall, I wrote to the organizers at the Nautical Research Guild to suggest that they include paper models in the contest. This year's event on May 19-20 will for the first time in its long history include two categories for paper ship models: kit-built and scratch-built. I will be entering four or five ship models and displaying one.

I've spoken to Kooklik a few times over the last couple of years.
Email and facebook. Well, we try to speak...his english is better than my Thai, but still not great. I won't speak for him, but it appears paper model interests have been put away. He told me, that certain projects are on indefinite hold. He appears to be enjoying family life (good for him!). Anyway, yes, I continued to sell my repaints of the Type VII Uboat at my own shop...but not his original model. Since he never returned to the 'new' ecardmodels, none of his models went back up there.

Kooklik is not Thaipaperwork.
Kooklik's models are not sold by Nobi(Thaipaperworks). not sure how thats a possible, but okay?
